Dynalectric's ability to perform under a rigorous, fast track schedule was a requirement for these high-tech sister projects, each completed within just a few months time.

These facilities, 10,000 and 8,000 square feet respectively, are used for MCI WorldCom’s telephone services. Work performed by Dynalectric included the installation of DC power, incorporating two-tier battery racks, a 10,000 amp 48 volt bus duct system, cable tray tracks, 800 amp 48 volt rectifiers, 100 amp AC cabinets, 48 volt power bays, DC wiring throughout the facility, 2,000 amp 48 volt disconnects, interconnected battery strings, ground cables and ground bars.

During the construction phase of this 114,000 square foot Internet co-location site, Dynalectric's team of professionals installed the facility's entire electrical system, which included five 1,750kw generators, two 3,000 amp services, four 500kva UPS systems, eight 375kva UPS systems, a complete fire alarm system, two 3,000 amp transfer switches, and paralleling switchboards.

After the successful completion of the project, Dynalectric was awarded the service maintenance contract for this site.
